I really thought this was made by the same team that did Ginga Ninkyouden, but that was Jaleco. Very similar gameplay and style.

Absolutely terrible game. No aim assist for a console game, your shots miss all the time because of the abhorrent bullet spread, repetitive level layout structure and uninteresting level design, bullet sponge enemies with little variety, terrible sniper rifle aiming, horrific head bobbing that causes disorientation, slow (and nauseating) weapon reloads and long animations when switching from gun to gun, delayed actions such as crouching that can unexplainably take a second or more to actually trigger at times, inconsistent checkpoints, terrible motion blur and draw distance, and oh yeah... the framerate.

The 8 bit dots hurt my eyes

The songs are shorter compared to every other version - but the loading times are fast and it seems to play well. If this was you only way to play as a kid you still get a good experience imo.
